Discovered AnantaCMS today and while looking over the site I remembered what bugs me about CMS project websites and what every project needs.
1. About section. I couldn't find on on the site. In fact, there's really nothing but two posts about the system.
2. License. Is it GPL? MIT? What is it? That should be made clear.
3. Support forum. Or something that people can use for support. And I don't mean the SourceForge forums. (Those are absolutely horrible.) Even a Google Group is better than no forum at all.

Hey
1/ True, it could use some overview. This'll be a point I'll be working on when the first stable release is coming
2/ GPL v3, this is said on the second page of the cms installation
3/ People can contact me trought the contact form. Yes, a forum would be much better, but I'm still thinking about creating a forum module (won't be for some time soon however) so I doubt I'll be setting up another forum soon

hi, mlitn,
I always like an about page with a system. Just one of my quirks, I guess. (Plus, it helps ground the users to the author's plan and style of doing things.)
Since I haven't downloaded it, I would have no way of knowing the license. Knowing that it's open source will go a long way in getting people to try it. (Maybe put the GPL3 note on the download page?)
If you think about your system in the Drupal way, you forum posts could be just another piece of content with funny styling
Let me know when you get closer to a stable release.

1/ Yes, I too always first look if I can see a quick overview somewhere. I was still planning on making some kind of overview/help somewhere, so it'll definately come, though I don't know in what way and how thorough yet
2/ Just added
3/ That's how I was planning on implementing it, though I still have to figure out how to exactly work it through (if I actually go ahead and do it
)
edit: damn, I apparantly didn't click the correct post to reply to
